French Consulting Group Expanding to US
Bonjour,
Cordialement
Pierre Baillavoine

Jump Start Your Career - Join a Career Action Group - June 10
Join a Career Action Group (SM) and bring focus and momentum to attaining your next job. The group in New York started Tuesday, May 6.
WHAT IS A CAREER ACTION GROUP?
Career Action Groups (SM) are groups of people in career transition who support each other through the search process, with the guidance of a professional coach. The support and energy of the group helps those wanting to make changes in their careers move forward more quickly. Whether you are looking for something new, are between jobs and want to build on past successes, or want to create an entirely different professional life - a group of your peers can help make this transition a more productive and rewarding experience. The leadership of a professional coach, using a structured curriculum, optimizes the value of this experience. Career Action Groups
(SM) can help you to create focus and momentum around your goals while offering broader resources, ideas and perspectives.
You can find more information at www.careeractiongroups.com.
Career Action Groups (SM) have been offered in New York, San Francisco and Palo Alto with great success. A new series will begin in New York on Tuesday, May 6. The workshops are reasonably priced and provide an economical way to experience career coaching.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Business professionals from all industries are invited to enroll. We look for bright, well-educated, highly motivated individuals who are committed to self-development and to participating in the group process. The vast majority of participants are seasoned professionals with numerous years of work experience. Most have MBA degrees, although this is not a prerequisite.
HOW ARE THE GROUPS ORGANIZED?
Each group is expected to have 10-14 members. Individuals are screened to ensure a cross-section of industry backgrounds.
WHEN WILL THE GROUPS BE HELD?
The next group will have the following schedule:
Tuesday, June 10.
The meeting time is 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
HOW CAN JOINING A CAREER ACTION GROUP HELP ME?
Through teamwork, support and structure, you can achieve much more than on your own. Working with a team you can:
--Make new contacts
--Leverage the resources and ideas of others
--Expand your possibilities
--Get support, motivation and validation, and end feelings of isolation
--Move forward to achieve your next job.
These benefits make participating in a Career Action Group (SM) an energizing, tangible, cost-effective way to bring more focus and momentum to attaining your next career goal.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM A SUPPORT GROUP?
While the group experience that develops over 6 weeks does offer participants powerful support in the job search process, a Career Action Group (SM) is more than just a support group. The groups are led by a professional coach (see below) according to a carefully designed curriculum that offers a mix of coaching and job search tactics. While the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, these groups are structured to ensure participants with the best return on their time and energy.
TESTIMONIALS FROM PREVIOUS NYC CAREER ACTION GROUPS:
"The perfect blend of self-analysis exercises, concrete reviews of the steps in a job search and career coaching." -- Turnaround Specialist
"What an impressive group of participants with great energy and ideas. I left each week energized and inspired by them and the facilitator." -- Education Administrator
"This group was very instrumental in helping me put some productive shape to my job search and break the process down into manageable pieces. Outplacement was too rote and didn't deal with the realities of the emotional aspects of getting laid off. This group worked as a support group as well as a practical how-to." --Marketing Executive
"The group offered structure, accountability, networking and the support of others going through the same experience. The leader was astute, supportive, well-prepared and effective." -- Financial Services Professional
"Gives you great tools to engage in a job search." -- Entrepreneur
"Excellent networking and career assistance. Job searching can be a lonely and uncertain process. It helps to hear other approaches and experiences." -- Consultant
"Outstanding! Much more effective than expected - the leader is simply perfect!" -- Legal/financial professional
WHAT ELSE IS INCLUDED?
In addition to the group sessions, you will also receive one individual coaching session with the group leader during the six-week period.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ON COST AND HOW TO REGISTER:
Please send an email to nyc@careeractiongroups.com with your name, phone number and a good time to reach you. The group leader will contact you shortly thereafter. Group size is limted to 14.
