Please Welcome our New Newsletter Editor I have great pleasure in
announcing Guila Clara KESSOUS as our new Newsletter Editor at ESSEC USA.
Guila comes to us with great experience. She graduated from ESSEC in 2002
after her DEA. She just arrived in Boston where she is Teaching Assistant at
Boston University. ATTENTION Alumni... Volunteers Still Needed We still have at least 2
positions open (volunteers are always welcome to help) – those positions can
be located anywhere in the US. Annuaire – Membership: You will be in charge to
maintain our database of members in contact with the Maison des Essec.
Contacting our members, you will make sure that their information is updated,
especially their emails. You are a key player nationwide as your work
supports the chapters as well. Looking to better know the Essec network, this
time will be well spent helping the community. Job – Internship: You have ideas on how to
improve the diffusion and collection of internships and jobs. The difference you
will be making for others will come back to you sooner than you expect. You
will decide how to communicate the requests from students, making them more
productive. For more information and
to apply for both positions, contact Anne Stone, Essec USA president. Congratulation for
your new position Congratulation to Isabelle Aguerre (Essec 96, Harvard 03) for her new position at the Retail Division of Cartier Inc. in New York.

Navigating the road
to a Green Card There
are two central ways of obtaining lawful permanent residence in the Unites
States, commonly known as the “green card.”
One avenue is through a qualifying employment–based sponsorship and
the other is through a qualifying family-based relationship. Foreign
nationals who are skilled or educated, for example, and who have job offers
have the possibility of immigrating to the United States. A third option,
albeit less likely, is the annual diversity visa lottery for those foreign
nationals who are eligible…… Last month: Alphabet Soup:
options for temporary visas to work in the US Next month: Investor visas: short and long term visions
