Don't forget to update your information with ESSEC

Did you receive the new Alumni book in your mailbox? We would assume so if you pay your dues! It's a good time to remember to update your personal information with La Maison des Essec. 

Attention everyone: We are in the process of changing the distribution of our newsletter to only alumni dully registered at the Federation des Essec. So if you want to ensure that you will continue receiving this newsletter, check your personal information on the annual book, or the www.essecnet.com website ("espace privilege" on the top left corner; indicate your State of residence in the "Code postal" area Example: NY 10128). Remember, having accurate information will help us better support the community!

New York Chapter - Special French Culinary Dinner

End of the summer, back to business. In order to regroup after the summer, we are offering you to join us for dinner in lieu of the monthly get-together. It will be on September 16 (a Monday for once), at 8:00PM at L'Ecole. The price is $29.95 for a 5 course dinner (not including tax / gratuities / drinks). Reservation is required by September 12. Attendance is limited to 10 people.

Congratulations on Your Promotion... 

As of the first of July 2002, Ovidiu Sofronia (Essec 1995), currently Controller Guerlain Latin America, has been appointed Controller Latin America for Parfums Christian Dior and Guerlain. Congratulations!

Special Update:  Change in U.S. Immigration Law

As a result of the September 11, 2001 tragedy, Congress has begun to make a concerted effort to keep track of all aliens* in the U.S. As a result, the government has begun implementing a long-standing requirement for all aliens in the U.S. to register any change of address while they are residing within the U.S.
