Back in May 2011, RICHART Chocolates, the French luxury chocolatier, partnered with the St Germain jazz festival in Paris to innovate and introduce a new kind of pairing: jazz and chocolates. The event was so successful that it could not remain an ephemeral experience.

Indeed, the same way gourmet chocolates or French macarons stimulate our senses, they also trigger emotions and memories. By sharing them with our friends during a tasting, we reach a successful tasting’s nirvana: the Overall Flavor. Jazz happens to work the same way. On October 25th, 2011, at the prestigious Setai 5th Avenue hotel, Michel RICHART will introduce five of his creations – one of them designed especially for the occasion – for the audience to taste. ESSEC USA is pleased to present the annual MBA in Hospitality Management (IMHI) get together during the International Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Show (IHMRS), Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, at the Setai Fifth Avenue Hotel, a Capella Managed Hotel, courtesy of Francois Luiggi H92.

This will be a great opportunity to reunite with many ESSEC – IMHIand Cornell Hotel School alumni, who are coming to New York from all the over the US, Canada and Latin America for the IHMRS annual convention (held at the Javits Center, Nov 12-15, 2011).

Off the record and during the brunch, Chinmai Sharma H03 (Vice President, Revenue Management, Wyndham Hotel Group) will share with us his personal perspective on the US lodging market, and the latest trends.
