Jacques Stern, 39 years of age, is a qualified accountant and holds a degree from the "Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lille" (Lille Business School). He began his career with Price Waterhouse as External Auditor in 1988. He joined Accor in 1992 as Consolidation Officer and became Group Financial Planning Officer in 1996. He was appointed Group Controller in 2000 and Deputy Chief Financial Officer in 2002. Jacques Stern was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in January 2003.
